Terms of Service
I, THE ARTIST· Reserve the right to make changes to this service agreement at any point in time without notification to current or future commissioners.· Can deny or release a commission at any point in time with or without explanation. A refund will be issued for any work left incomplete within reason.· Have the right to post the created work anywhere deemed purposeful.· Reserve the right to use any commissioned artwork for a professional portfolio either to show potential employers, at conventions, or otherwise as necessary. This does not mean I have rights to your characters or their image, merely the artwork I have created.· Maintain the rights to all creations as long as rights are not purchased via any other person including the original requesting party. This means you cannot use artwork that I've created for commercial purposes (e.g. merch, selling stickers, etc). You cannot sell my work without my consent.· Reserve the right to deny edits past (2) edits, and (3) small detail nitpicks beyond the sketch phase.
YOU, THE COMMISSIONER· Shall pay-in-full the amount required for the commission before work begins, unless otherwise discussed.· Shall receive the commissioned art within a timely manner congruent to the time-frame specified.· Will receive digital artwork unless otherwise specified.· Shall receive Work-in-Progress [WIP] updates when commissioning work beyond the sketch phase or as needed.· There is no addendum at this time. ARTIST'S NOTEThe typical waiting period for a commission can vary from 14-45 days. I typically give myself a solid deadline of completing commissions by the end of the next month after receipt of payment. If it extends beyond that time-frame without update, feel free to get in touch with me.Otherwise unless it's important, please allow me space to work. I haven't forgotten you! Frequent check-ins make me nervous and can compromise the quality of work I'm able to produce.If you wish to discuss buying the rights to an image you commissioned for commercial use, or to ensure that I do not use it commercially, we can discuss a fee for that. Typically +50% of the original commission cost.Due to the nature of life itself, completion of commission work may sometimes be inconsistent and there may be varying personal issues that also impede progress for which I may or may not be willing to name. While I do commissions to make an income, I do also have a life and responsibilities outside of my artwork that sometimes have to take priority.If you are uncomfortable with certain terms being used to refer to your character's sex/gender then please let me know and I'll include a disclaimer on the submission when I submit to my galleries.Thank you for your understanding & I look forward to working with you!

All simple BGs (single color, gradient, photo, or repeating pattern) are free-of-charge and come with your piece by default. If no specific BG is requested I will use my own judgement. Transparent BG can be provided upon request. :)If you have a commission request or idea that doesn't fit neatly in these categories, that's okay!
